I can't imagine he'll call Cus.Ser, I would do it myself...has worked everytime so far...don't count on your dealer, call Cus.Ser. and have them call him!...I think we've learned that this procedure works

Thanks again!!!

My dealer told me today she talked to MoCo and they told her they will not send out anymore seats, because they are not fitting right, as well. They said they want this seat to fit right, then they will start sending them out again. ( Is my dealer blowing smoke up my tail pipe).

YES!     Were that true, they could not send out any new SERGs!     :sauer005:

I say NO!!!  They are still sending out New Bikes and these New Bikes still have the Seat issue.  My friend just picked up his New Bike yesterday and it does have this problem.

My Dealer, who does a great job, did call the MoCo, and they advised that they have stopped sending out replacement seats until they can determine what has caused this.  The theory here is what if the current replacement does the same thing?  They haven't solved anything.

The MoCo has my VIN number and when the problem is solved I will get a replacement seat.

So far all of the replacement seats have worked out well.  At least hqven't heard anyone here say that their replacement didn't work.  We just got a new bike delivered last week and the gap was gone.  My seat hopefully gets here next week and will let you know.  If the gap remains then they'll get another call.  Fingers crossed.  Let's Roll

Received and installed new seat yesterday at dealer.  Fits fine.  I assume that HD gets the seat from a supplier who will have to redo old seat.  Good luck to those still waiting but I think this will get resolved.

My dealer called me yesterday and told me Mo Co called her. Mo Co told her the manufacturer of the seat will be eating this one. My new seat is on the way. :orange: :huepfenjump3:

Dealer just left the hose w/ the bike in their truck. I'm anxious to see how the new one fits up.
