Last night ran into some people from the local dealership on their way home from the dealer show.  We were boarding a plane, so I didn't have much time to talk.  The big news was that ALL 2010 bikes will come with cats installed, and no more performance pipes.  I didn't catch if it was EPA, but I gathered that they may be testing.  Could be a good reason to have an 09!

I didn't get any other info.  Anyone hear anything else for 2010?

Keep your stock pipes and tune for when national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) are inacted and all vehicle tailpipe emission mut be measured annually to maintain registration...Oy!

Things will probably get sticky for next years models, 2009 may be the be latest benchmark.

As if HD needed another kick in the teeth to effect the sagging sales.

I see no reason to bother looking at 2010 model , hopefully they will get the water cooled bagger going soon. If the earlier 2400cc EPA testing they did is an indication of the future , I'm willing to wait.
