Chip, that's great.  I sent you a PM with info on a couple of GTGs that we've got planned.   One is posted on the forum here.  The other is just getting off the ground.......both prove to be equally great times in great locations so it's just a matter of timing.

Let me know if you need further info.  You'll only be a couple hours out of the bay area and you'll be in a beautiful area.  It's all great riding.

You'll likely fly into San Francisco or Oakland.  But if you could fly into San Jose (a little further south about an hour), there's a bike rental where you can get a bagger for about $100 a day. Considerable savings compared to the rentals at the dealerships.

I did rent through H.O.G. Fly & Ride (albeit in August, better vacation time for us) and it is from the South San Francisco dealership: Dudley Perkins Company, 333 Corey Way, So. San Francisco, CA 94080, Ph: 650-737-5467.

The Metal Dragon is the name of Jim's (hd-dude's) repair shop, and I would agree the north coast line is really pretty in the spring time. Chip, you can also fly into Sacramento and it's a fairly short trip to the Napa Valley, Soozie and I would love to hook up with the both of you! It's only an hours drive for us, and of course your in JC's backyard

Lucky man! There is a great Spa with an Inn and restaurant in Sonoma, called the Kenwood Inn and Spa very near the Kenwood winery where an old riding buddy is the GM. It is over a great twistie road from Napa about a 30 minute scoot and from there you can get to all the great wineries in Napa, Sonoma and the coast. Send me a pm and I'll get you connected if you like. Highly recommend the couples massage. There are 2 pools and a hot tub open 24 hours on the adult only grounds and each room has a personality of it's own. If it all works out my buddy may get is UC out and ride with you one day. I am jealous!

The Metal Dragon is a place where you spend all of your money on stuff and upgrades you don't REALLY need and swap lies with others spending all of their money, and you top off everybodys tank cause you filled up yours right before a fuel filter replacement. :huepfenjump3:
