The Metal Dragon is a place where you spend all of your money on stuff and upgrades you don't REALLY need and swap lies with others spending all of their money, and you top off everybodys tank cause you filled up yours right before a fuel filter replacement. :huepfenjump3:

And I thank you for the gas!  :huepfenjump3:

He fills up right before the FF replacement so I got a couple gallons free gas since Jim needed a place to put it.  After giving away the gas, we're about 2/3 the way home when Trapperdog bails cause he needed gas! LMAO

If you go in June (12, 13, 14) you can hit the Redwood Run, its only about 150 miles north and some great riding up and then down the coast. George Thorogood & the Destroyers is playing this year. Check it out.

If you can make this, it will be the highlight of the trip. See if you can get reservations at the Ben Bow Inn. Its near the Avenue of the Giants near Garberville. Usually the Hamsters take up the whole place but you may luck out.  Doc

Louis!
The Metal Dragon is the name of Jim's (hd-dude's) repair shop, and I would agree the north coast line is really pretty in the spring time. Chip, you can also fly into Sacramento and it's a fairly short trip to the Napa Valley, Soozie and I would love to hook up with the both of you! It's only an hours drive for us, and of course your in JC's backyard

Don............

I thought about that.  But flights coming across country are always more expensive into Sacramento than either S.F. or Oakland......that's why I figured they'd fly him into the bay.  Who knows........... :nixweiss:

Hope it's Frisco if you've never seen it. Crossed the bridges this past summer and thought it pretty neat. Had no time set to explore San Fran and wish I would of. BTW - did the interior of Ca. last July and damn near died from the heat. You're going to have a blast.

We'll give Chip and Nancy the $1.98 tour when they get here.  Jason's gonna show em what's so great about Cali and Mike, you've got a standing invitation, too.  Course you already know your way around and what you're missin.

Today in Monterey/Carmel 67F tomorrow 70F.  And hotel rooms in that high rent district are rediculously cheap right now.  Terrie and I will be headed over there in an hour or two, for the weekend. :2vrolijk_21:

Jason, what was your question again? ;D

We got the packet from MDA yesterday.
Always being cautionly optimistic we were not sure what to expect for a "free" trip to Napa Valley in California.
After review,,,,,,,,,,,it's a great package, top notch flights and 5 star accommodations.

JC, once we figure out our schedules for this year we will be in touch to schedule a ride with you, Andy, Ernie, Jim and all those great people over there.
We appreciate all the feedback and post as to places and things to do.
