If I could make a suggestion Take the bracket off and have it powder coated or at least paint it black. It won't show up so much.

It looks like it also raises the tour back...although it is hard to tell how much ?

Were any other mods necessary, or does it bolt right in.

it raise the tour pack up about a 1/2" looks fin not to out of place,but well worth it the item is black powder coated gloss and the sides are polished.George ships on Mon weds Fri and i had mine in 2-3 days and i know he most likely didn't get my check that fast.You can call him on his cell #309-236-0952.He is a first class guy :bananarock:It does bolt right in and he suppies new hardware,It is a 2 people job thats about 10 min to do.

What is the price of the bracket?

It does raise about a 1/2 inch,It really doesn't weigh anything,maybe a pound or so,to me it isn't noticeable,when I should my dealer they were impressed and some of my bike buddies,It does look good.the price was $162 shipped,money well spent for the room gained
