Ride to Charleston SC from Charlotte NC.

It was time to ride!

We ALL needed the feel of the open road.

So we made a plan yesterday.

Ride from Charlotte NC to Charleston SC for lunch, a stop at the Harley shop and back home before dark.

Three SEUC's, 2 Ultra's and one silver something.

It was a fun ride and we let the bikes rip on the way down and back.

I needed that!

Here we are at the first stop at exit 145 on 26 headed east.
A Waffle House and good gas, how can it get any better?
Exit 145 on I-26 is 145 miles from my house so it works great as a stop!

We let the bikes loose coming down the road.

I rolled on with the red 09 in the picture.

He has the new V&H true dual header and Rinehart mufflers and the 251 cams.

At this gas stop he said, "Yes, I'm sure if Tman had tuned mine I could have kept up with you.

I tried to tell him where to go to get it tuned.

But he didn't listen.

Oh well!

A simple lunch ride!

444.3 miles later.

It was mid 30's when we left and got up to mid 50's in Charleston and back to mid 40's when we got home.

A great day and a great ride!

As I said in my first post.

I needed a ride like that!

If memory serves me correctly...that an exit off of I-26 in Orangeburg, SC...Glad you enjoyed the trip.

Sorry MikeyT,,,,,,,,,it was a spur of the moment ride.
We stayed at the Harley shop maybe 30 minutes.
I will let you know next time we come that way!

The little 30 to 50 mile rides were not filling the needs!
This ride could have been warmer, but a cold ride is always better than no ride!
