:huepfenlol2: Ok, so I might be a tad high maintenance, but when you get a brand new motorcycle for christmas, who can complain? Hubby sure doesn't!

Why would he? He is living the dream!

So after a 6 month period of hinting that he would like to learn how to ride a motorcycle, and checking out the HD website a LOT, I got the bright idea to get my husband (gxm82) motorcycle riding lessons at Harley for his Christmas gift. I was sooo proud of myself, thinking I had the perfect gift for him, until I set foot in the dealership.  Though my intent was to buy riding gloves to wrap up with the gift card for the Rider's Edge course, fate put me directly in front of the most beautiful bike I had ever seen.  The FXTSSE3 CVO Springer Softail in Green flames (my husbands fav color!)...
I looked at the sales guy and told him I needed that bike, but he just shook his head and said "that's what everyone says. great looking bike isn't it?"  Now I should have known better, being a 25 year old female who was buying a pair of gloves only, and seeing as I didn't ask about the persormance at all, but I saw the screamin' eagle pipes, and the perfect paint job, and I was sold. So I took the salesman's card and called him back about making a deal. You have no idea how suprised he was to hear from me!  ::) I workout the sale price and printed out a paper to wrap up for Christmas saying that we had to go to the dealership for accessories for the riding class... but hubby saw the excitement in my eyes and said "did you buy a bike!?" and I asked if he wanted to see a photo online. He was floored when he saw the 2009 CVO Softail Springer! He assumed I picked out a used or a less expensive model... but nothing is too good for my husband!  :-* We signed the papers on Dec 26th and riding classes start in March. Wish him good weather, cuz we're in Wisconsin!!! Maybe I'll learn next!

I have just shown this wonderful letter to my wife, She thinks this was actually written by your husband. I said if you loved me you would buy me another bike. She said if I loved her I would let her mother come to stay. Soooo No new bike for me this christmas.

I wrote it, not hubby.   And no bike is worth living with the MOTHER IN LAW... at least not mine!   :soapbox: I assume you would agree about yours  :drink:  :huepfenjump3:

Absolutely. I have two mother in laws so I guess I must have done something REALLY bad in my previous life.
