Is there any update on this tail light? Did it work with the other lights. Thanks

I saw a display set up at the Ormond Beach Harley and that BAL was really bright.  You really can't look at it.  It's too bright to look at if you are standing just a few feet away.  Price tag however is more than double the price I paid for mine from Ride Time Technology.

Installed BAL-1 on mine. $199 at Harley dealer. 4 LED's with very efficient reflector. 3 tail light intensities, 13 brake light patterns, 10 parade modes (continuous flash). Very bright white led license plate light. Change patterns with a magnet, or can be wired to a remote momentary switch to change while riding. It is easily switched back to the default DOT compliant pattern. I purchased it after riding behind one at a recent daytime charity ride and it was so noticeable that it became quite annoying to me. Perfect, just what I want! A quality made in the USA product. 5 year warranty. The BAL-2 has 12 LED's and additional patterns and is super bright, $419 at same dealer. I'm quite satisfied with the BAL-1.

Tommy, thanks for the update. Thought about the BAL-2 until the manufacturer told me the price, which I thought is too much. Is the BAL-1 compatible with your turn signals, assuming they are NOT LED's? Thanks

Wow I only paid 160 for mine, guess the 20 percent off days were worth it.   I didnt mind the 20 dollars over harley light since it was programmable and it can be seen for miles and cars actually back off when you hit the brakes.

Well worth it in my opinion, safety first yeah that is how i am justifying it :)   Wife agrees so it works for me !

Just ordered mine.
$200.00 seems like a lot, but if helps make us safer and more visible than it's cheap in my opinion! I have 2 friends that ride Ultra's and were rear ended and seriously injured.
I will post again after I install mine.

Dave, thanks for the update. Are there any issues with installing it with the regular turn signal bulbs?

Easy direct replacement for stock taillight assy. No impact to turn signals or other lights.

Just got my BrightAssLight BAL-1, and installed it and configured it in less then 10 minutes.
It's GREAT!
Cagers WILL pay attention when I hit the brake now, believe me!
Well worth the money.

Just received mine, easy setup. Anyone have any issues with the turn signals blinking faster just before the turn signal cancels?  Similar to if you have a burned out bulb (which I don't). I had the Kurykan LED and equalizer on previously (removed the equalizer).  Thanks and ride safe!

Does anyone have recommendations for tombstone LEDs ?

Or LEDs for V-rod's ?

Also, BAL says on their website that they have running light LED conversions coming soon - are there others already making these?

I like the BAL approach but the product line seems quite limited.

Check out this website - they have the best assortment of LED's I've run accross.
