I've had my O/B on order since September.  They said after the first of the year.  I had no idea it would be June!  That is almost a 2010!  Speaking of that, has anyone heard of what the 2010 SERG will offer?  Maybe it is worth the wait as long as I have to go to June.  They could get me a silver one sooner, but at 31K, you want what you want.  I'll go check it out anyway.  I hate to think I could be riding a sportster until then (I could buy it on the full trade program)!

have you checked around with other dealers?...apparently they're out there on the showroom floors lookin' for buyers - according to some posts, my dealer had an O/B on the floor here in D.C. for 2 months at M.S.R.P., finally got rid of it...good luck!...and the Silver one is awfully purdy...IMHO

If it were me I think I'd switch the  order over to a 2010, colors as yet not known, but I highly suspect that the O/B will contiue to be offered, in additional  I believe  you will be able to order it with a tour pak, and not have to go though all the BS of ordering it  on your own like I had to.   Good Luck Love mine.

Damn, that sucks! I thought I had a log time to wait... but at least my wait is self imposed.

Would be tough to wait until then, and then when the '10 info is released (August?) there is something cooler for next year.

I am not sure if you can find an O/B elsewhere. If yes, I'd go for it. Missing a good part of the riding season is no fun. Also, since typically the Moco does offer CVO's for at least two years, there is a good chance for an '10 SERG, and with about a month of difference, I'd rather go for a 2010, if only for value at resale. However, there might not be an O/B in 2010, but other colors. There you go, no good advice after all.

Go for a 2011. Why jump the gun. Not really! I had an old friend that used to say "hurry up and buy one while there still hard to get. Point is that you could fall over dead waiting. Also, there are 09's on a few show room floors and with our economy, now is the time to get a great deal! A little perseverance will go a long way. There is a great riding season coming... live the dream today not tomorrow!

I heard there might be emissions standards on the 2010s.  I don't want to contend with that.  Fortunately, I'll still have a bike, however, I'm planning on selling my HD Deuce to make room.  A Spring sale gives me a little more runway.  I'll still go to the dealer and check out the Silver.  I haven't even seen a SERG in person!

I was planning on riding to the ROT rally in June, and possibly the CVO deal in May (I'm not that far away).  Do you guys allow Sportsters? .......

That is one helluva long wait, but it will be worth it. I would suggest to keep looking around and not count on it as a done deal. Good Luck!

You are more patient than I am.  I would start searching on line to find one.  Joe Carson Harley in Lancaster, Ohio can't sell their O/B SERG at msrp and no hidden fees..  Would be about a 700 mile trip each way.  I would find one, make a deal, and then get my $1000 back.

The 10's are out in July (10's doesn't sound right).

Not if you do the 2.25 fullsac baffles (125.00) great low sound, not real loud, but loud enough + sert cost about $500.00
