Project Springer FXR

OK so....project Springer FXR is under way. I am taking a lot of pictures and will post some soon. I do have the new front end on and I have installed the new SS carb and it's all ready for the Kuryakyn Hypercharger which is sitting on the bench. Removed the straight Hooker Pipes and am waiting the arrival of some Martin triple stepped drag pipes also have the back wheel off.  The wires for the lights are a bit confusing, since I am putting new lights on I have to get the wires out of the existing light housing....but Im too chicken to cut all the wires. I did mark each clip and photographed the front and back. BUT when it comes time to do the actual wiring....I may defer to the good old boys over at Rosholt Cycle. I mean the guy that owns it is named Chain for cripes sake...hell the other bike shop I go to is called Neinfeldts Cycle...the guys name is.... Charles Harley Neinfeldt. SO just based on their names they MUST know what they are doing. Any way, like it or not guys and gals, the Springer FXR will live.

Forks on...had to do a little cutting and grinding to remove the lock tab from the frame but I got them on.

My dog smiling at me. Thats all for now.I have the forward controls coming...JayBrake J Series in black, Black 60 count cross spoked 18x3.5 front and rear by HDWheels, new springer brake for the front and a new DNA brakester for the rear Drive/brake combo. All this stuff should hit my house in the next couple weeks.New Exhaust is already here. Oh and a Beach bar for the handle bar.
