Bike looks great. I'm impressed with the clean garage, is the rest that tidy?

Finally an electric Harley!   :coolblue:  I'd heard rumor that the MoCo had sold a few of these on an experimental basis.  They are powered by a remanufactured MayTag washing machine electric motor with faux Harley engine side covers. But the agreement was you were to never let someone see it while charging the batteries every 50 miles.  Well, the cat's out of the bag now.  Great looking bike otherwise :D

Henry, what a cream puff. And from what you've done to her performance wise, I'll bet she rides even nicer than she looks.

Henry, thanks for posting.  Sure liked my melon, but then I've liked each and every Harley I've had!  :2vrolijk_21:

Henry

Can't wait till you put Thump on the dyno!

I'm thinking we will all be surprised.

Can you imagine what kind of thumping Thumper will give a 75K SERK?

It will be like good pie for desert.

You will want more!

GAWD AWFUL busy friggin' week here.

We're about to get some weather here in North Alabama.  Hopefully it doesn't hamper my weekend plans to get Thump tuned.  If all goes well, I'll post numbers and charts in this thread Saturday evening......

.......but until then, folks.....I'll be task saturated.

Very humid day.......at least this morning.  Rode in the rain to get to Hanceville.  Was raining when the bike was tuned.  Today's numbers:  122/124.  We'll try again on a day with better weather.

I can't get the runfile to open on a Mac.  .drf  Any help!

Went to one of the Windows machines.  Unless I did something wrong, this is the first run.  119ish and 121ish.

Report on the chart is only 30% relative humidity on a 70 degree day.  Not a bad day to measure from.  Seems odd they'd give you a souvenir printout from an early run rather than one that matters.  That's an awfully nice long flat torque line for a first and basically untuned run also.  So if it got better from there you have everything to be pleased with.

You may or may not have been expecting slightly "bigger" numbers but the numbers themselves are irrelevant comparing across machines anyway.  The early entry and long flat shape of that torque line is what feels good.

So........finally...........I get to slow down for a little bit.  WHEW!  I can't believe how quick today went by.  Although it was rainy this morning, the ride down to Hanceville was enjoyable.  The graph you see above is with the break-in map.  Seems like Rod's Performance became very popular while I was there.  It got crowded quick.  Rod tuned the bike and achieved the numbers displayed earlier.  He's not thrilled with them.  Personally, I don't really care.  The bike feels great, and as long as it doesn't break, I'm cool with that.  Anyway, I was transferring stuff out of the green bike and into the purple bike.........threw Rod a thumb drive and asked for my runfile.  What you see above is what he gave me.  I have no idea how that stuff works.  More than likely it is a matter of my not knowing how to use the Winpep S/W, but.......what you see above is pretty much how today's final charts look.......including what appears to be clutch slippage at 5100.  Green bike stayed down there to get a fresh fuel filter as well as fresh brake and clutch fluid, new HPI Oil Filter Flange, and a few other Goodies...........just don't have time to do it........and it needs to be done.  Rod wants to work on the map some more.  OK.......but not necessary from my vantage point.  Overall, quite pleased with the bike.
Rode the purple bike home.  WOW!  Love the Michelins.
Spent the afternoon with my Lovely Valentine.  Took her out to Ledges for an early supper, then to see the movie "Taken."  <-----MUST SEE!

The Good, Fun Days always fly by.  I haven't had one go by this quick since Ribfest last year!   :)

The Armour All on the tires fits into the same category as the flamables by the hot water tank... should get on that as well! :nervous:

What makes you think there's Armor All on the tires?
