Centerstand for an 09 SEUC
« on: February 09, 2009, 01:38:04 PM »

There has been much discussion about centerstands for 09 bikes.

Mine came in over the weekend for the 09 SEUC and I installed it today.

I have to say the installation was a piece of cake.

Went out to the garage at lunch time and 30 minutes later was done. (and that included adjustments)

I now have 4 centerstands. On the 01, the 03, and the 05 they were a pain to install. Took about two hours for each.

The 09 was a breeze.

I adjusted the stand for the 09 so the rear tire was barely touching the ground. This 09 SEUC is a heavy some beach.

With the tire barely touching the ground on the 09 it's easy to get it on the stand and to take it off.

Here's a few pics!

Okay, 3 questions.  What pipes are those?  How is the heat for the passenger's right foot with the pipe that close?  When are you going to replace those hinges?  :confused5:

What pipes are those?                                                                         D&D Fatcat

How is the heat for the passenger's right foot with the pipe that close?        No problem, ask anyone with a D&D Fatcat.

When are you going to replace those hinges?                                           :sauer021: :sauer021: :sauer021: :sauer021: :sauer021: :sauer021: :sauer021: :sauer021: :sauer021: :sauer021:

Those billet hinges can be had from the mftr contacted at dickelk@aol.com .

Harley has also recently released a new hinge of their own. Not billet.  Not as good looking in person.  But certainly better than stock.
