One other tid-bit.  If you want a happy passenger - put on a set of the Kuryakan Passenger Pegs. You won't reget it. This pic shows them retracted.
Ultra what benefit is there putting passenger pegs on that the footboard cant handle and can you post a pic with them not retracted'

The mod looks great!  Like it was meant to be there!

I had the passenger pegs on my '07 Ultra.  My wife loved them...allowed her to change up positions just like we do with our highway pegs.  Just a word of advice, if you have the leather saddlebag guard bags and/or waterbottle holders, the pegs won't retract to the furthest back position (stored position).  The guard bags are in the way.  Not a huge deal, but not having them stored restricts your leg movements a little when walking the bike backwards.  May depend on your height (reach), etc.  Just an FYI.
