i stated to but an 08 , 4 wheel drive half ton  hd truck , when i looked into the info ,it would only tow 5k lbs. and it didn't have side air bags, the sales man was lying about everything, so i got  a chevy

Jack Roush can fix the lack of supercharger.  He's got a really sweet one that fits under the stock hood.  I'm considering one for her LT.

hmmm....  I have to absorb that statement....and contemplate       I am unsure if that is a good thing, a bad thing or a taste of each......

It's too bad Ford/Microsoft can't team up with the MoCo to solve a solution us Ultra riders are in real need of. I bought a 2008 Lincoln Navigator with Sync installed in the SUV right from the factory. Sync was developed by Microsoft in partnership with Ford. As soon as I turn on my truck, it sync's with my phone and all my contacts are available and displayed on the NAV/Map. It also will sync with my music I have in my phone on micro SD card. The phone is integrated into the Ford sound system and MAP display. I can play all my music on the phone using streaming bluetooth through the Ford sound system, which is powerful.

There is absolutely no reason the MoCo couldn't do the same thing without us having to come up with creative and expensive solutions that don't even work as well. This same Sync technology would be a nice way to get into the HD Harmon Karden system and display the contacts, phone capabilities, and music with a Zumo. This would allow you to accept phone calls with your wired headset on your Ultra and listen to your music through the phone.

Ford is voiding warranties on any mods including exhaust and air intakes! Not leaving any room over stock. Unless it comes from the factory, they won't carry it.

If you have a great relationship with your dealer you might get by. My 08 F450, I wanted the banks dually exhaust (cat back) with their air intake & 2 seperate dealers said you make that mod, no warranty, period. A buddy just bought an 09 F150 Platinum and same thing, he wanted to change his exhaust & dealer said bye bye warranty.

Ford is trying to save money, bottom line.
