Senior Moment

Had the 40,000 mile service done last week and for some reason the black hose connecting chrome vent line to the fitting seemed out of place.  Here's the senior moment and question.  Was/is this two inch connector braided stainless steel on your bike?  Seems to me it was, but after service it's just a black hose connector between the chrome vent line running to the fitting on the oil spout.  I typed in the part number (32121-03) which the dealer says is the part and had no luck finding it on the Harley site.  Thanks!

No.  Not braided.  Just an ugly black connection.  Harley offers a solid line kit that is a one piece chromed line and a couple of different fittings to make it work.  It looks a lot better than the line with the rubber hose connector.

Thanks for finding yet another way to spend my money!   ;)

Looks like the next oil change will include another bit of chrome.  Not sure why that ugly piece of black tubing just "jumped out" at me.  Now I know more chrome is required otherwise you two would not have made this primo recommendation!  It's fate and I won't fight it!!   :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :2vrolijk_21:

The SUBTOTBF (stupid ugly black thing on the back fender) has many solutions.  The Voices will become a cacophony until you select one.











Then they won't like that one and will force you to select another.
