Spend a dime and have them ship something to you, end up with problems and try to resove them with the owners. The have great products but the owner is an a hole to deal with if things don't go his way.
Fortunately that wasn't my experience with the individual or the company. After getting the used Roadstar found a couple of small issues. Things like snap head rivets misplaced to accept the lid mounted storage bag that snaps in place or airline run in such a way it had rubbed since new. When I called I got Preston himself on the phone. Just be chance as different times others answered when getting different parts.
That time, however, I identified myself as a guy who'd just a bought a used trailer from an individual. Not from them. Told him I'd found a couple of small issues that stemmed from time of mftr. Then asked what the few pieces I wanted would cost.
Without asking if I was also buying a hitch or a harness or spending any other money to go along with the trailer I'd just carried home he said "don't worry about it." They put the little pieces n the mail that day. I had the day before just bought a hitch and harness and a few other bits to go with the trailer. But he didn't know that at the time.
I found the guy to be thoughtful, helpful, willing to engage in a conversation and answer questions with a user who might not be spending a dime with him. He proved to be easy to work with, respectful and willing to explain things about the trailer that I didn't even know yet I would need to ask.
