By "earlier", I am guessing that you mean pre '09 extension kits? The MoCo changed the frame design starting with the '09 models and they redesigned the floorboard mounting brackets.

Thanks Soos. Again, I guess it's the left hand side that's affected, as it's hard to see how a ½" longer bolt and a bit of tube won't fit!  :)

Does anybody know where I can get extensions for the 2009 CVO, so I can move my floorboards out 3/4 in, I see they have ones for 2008, should I just wait

Thanks for any input

www.harleygoodies.com/hdf has the chrome extenders for 2009 SE bikes.  I don't know for sure if there are other differences, but on the left side of 08 and prior bikes, you will see that the rear bracket has 3 holes in it.  On the 09's it is just one hole for each bracket.  That's enough reason to say 08 will not work on 09.  The extensions from Harley Goodies actually move the boards out 1" and they are a nice added comfort, look good, and make it a bit easier for cleaning in those areas.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Soos is only offering his in black.

That is correct, my kits come only in a black powder coat finish. Chrome will give the effect of an extended bracket, black gives the effect of an extended frame.

No disrepect for your product, but I haven't seen one with the black extension.  Do you have any photos of them mounted to see what it actually looks like with the black extensions?  I have the chrome ones, and like them...but I wouldn't mind seeing what the black ones look like mounted.

Take a look at the difference between an '08 kit and the new design '09 kit. The '09 kits require a pin alignment similar to the one on the passenger footboard bracket and if affects both sides. You can access the pics on my website thru the link below.

No offense taken. At this time I do not have any pics. My customers say they will send me some but once they get their kits, I don't hear from them again. I guess that they are just too busy enjoying the comfortable new ride.

I bought the Harleygoodies for my dad's bike and mine and love them.  Dad says he is more comfortable and does not get any cramps anymore.  This is a great benefit for a 72 year old!
