Little bare in the rear end
« on: February 18, 2009, 07:04:14 PM »

Just removed those 4" stock cannons and installed the black tip Rhineharts.  Now it sounds like a Harley but I'm not sure if I like the look.  Its either the smaller diameter or the black tip that throws me.  What do you think?

I like the black tips, but the small diameter looks kinda... well... puny... Sorry!

It's the smaller diameter. Need the 4" mufflers to fill the cutouts! The RH black caps would otherwise look great on a Silver Bullet.

Agreed
The small diameter just doesn't cut it for me either--- I don't mind the black tips though.

I agree with the above. Like the black but they need to fill up the gap more. How's it run?

Runs great.....be able to tell you more after it quits snowing.  I really need to get out of the mid-west.

Order a set of Fullsac baffles for $125 and put 'em in the original muffler bodies. Then Ebay the Rineharts.

Wish I had a better idea for ya...

Yup, Too small. Go with the Fullsac cores till you find something bigger. Or leave them in, they sound great.

Fullsac sounds like a plan.  Guess I should have read the techno stuff on exhausts before buying the Rhineharts.  Maybe I can sell them to the OTHER VCO owners.

Just got my fullsacs and I'm expecting great things. But, what really matters here is what you think. If you're happy w/ the look, sound and performance (once the snow clears) then it really doesn't matter what others think.

I'd go with the FullSacs too. After having both I'd say they flow as well as if not better than the Rineharts in my small limited opinion. And best of all you keep the OEM look and OEM stamped numbers. That way if you ever get checked for compliance your may pass visual as they have all the OEM numbers.

Park it next to any other new SERG and it'll suffer diameter envy.
