Randall,
Thanks!
the lines and cables look more "chrome" than the stock HD braided cables.
It was very easy....
I'm really glad that we have a hydraulic clutch, because taking the complete exhaust off to remove the transmission side plate would have been a pain in the a$$ for a cable clutch. but because of the hydraulic clutch, all I had to do was loosen the rear exhaust to get access to the hydraulic line.
I'd say that the biggest "issue" was figuring out how long the new cables and lines needed to be......lol
and getting the '09 clutch reservior was a HUGE help!
I need to bleed the clutch again, because I didn't bleed the clutch master clyinder before connecting the line, and I'm pretty sure I have a little air in the line because the clutch grabs really low, and I can't find neutral while the motor is running.
I slid the fuel tank back on the frame instead of removing it, by doing it this way, I didn't have to drain the tank. and I had a lot of fun soldering the wiring harness extensions on, no problems at all.
all in all it was a really smooth install!
