A little love for the SERG
« on: February 20, 2009, 01:13:32 PM »

After 18 months I finally had an issue with the SERG.

Would not idle.

Run 80, 100, 120 no problem, but would not idle.

Talked with some of the powers to be on this site.

Most of them said, either an intake leak or a AIC (air intake control) issue.

A visit to the Harley shop was in order.

A little time on the scanalyzer and a heat up and cool down cycle made it all well again.

Well that and a small bracket that had fallen off the T/B.

The SERG is home, parked in the "SERG" spot and happy again.

And as we all know,,,,happy bikes run well.

Much better that it has a spot rather than leaves one :drink: .

"That" was the answer. :nixweiss: So the "iac" or the"iat" fell off the throttle body and "a" bracket. Please clearify. Thx   Yes I'm Gettinold and proud of it.  ;D  You  :nixweiss:
