Welcome from north west Pa. I just bought the same bike. It is still at the dealer. I am waiting for the snow to melt and ride it home.

Welcome to the site from - Moss - Norway!  :coolblue:

I spent a couple of winters in a fjord in Tromso on a Navy ship back in the 80's. Beautiful, but cold!  I imagine the riding season is short there.

I'll be closing my deal on Friday, and it looks like reasonable weather to ride it home, too.  Looks like rain Thursday & Friday, so maybe the rain will wash a lot of the salt away as well.  Saturday looks to be sunny & 40, so a good "get acquainted" day.  Psyched!

Welcome from sunny Monroeville (NOT!)  I've got the ruby also...got mine from Hot Metal.  Where's yours coming from?  You'll love this forum.  Great bunch with a wealth of info and ways to spend your money for you.  Well, now you know you have someone with the same bike in the area.  I've got some other friends out this way that also ride SE Ultra's.  Maybe we'll catch a ride together one of these days.  The only other ruby I've seen in the area just recently left Z&M after several upgrades before leaving the dealer.  I hope that there aren't too many more around.  I don't want people telling me they saw me somewhere I wasn't....they'll just confuse me.

I got mine from Steel City.  Back in December, they had two ruby's in the shop - both sold and being prepped to go.  They have one more coming in April (which was going to be mine), but they traded a blue/silver one for me with a dealer in Johnstown.  Steel City seems to get a big allotment of SE's.  They are a good group of people, and did right by me.  I have a friend in the Washington PA HOG chapter who also just bought a blue/silver CVO Ultra, and is a member of this forum as well (berk).

I think that the Ruby Red bike paint scheme is absolutely breathtaking, but the blue one looks pretty good in person as well.  If I were not able to get the ruby, I would have been almost as happy with the blue.

I stopped in to Steel City a few weeks back and they had Screamin Eagles all over the place.  They had every model of 09 (that was probably the silver/black/blue one that they traded to Johnstown that I saw), and they had quite a few from earlier years also.  I'm already a member of Mon Valley and Latrobe HOG chapters, so I don't think I've got time for a third one.  Some of the guys from Mon Valley were trying to get me to go to Washington also, but you can only stretch yourself so thin.  The dealer in Wheeling had the silver/blue/black model and also had the orange/autumn haze and there's a guy from out my way that has the orange/autumn haze that I met the day I bought my bike.  After seeing all three, I can't honestly say which color scheme is the nicest, but the ruby red is the fastest!  If I wouldn't have walked in at just the right time to find the ruby available, I would have been very pleased with either of the other color combos.

The guys I ride with most often have an 07 and 08 SEUC and another guy has a standard Ultra with the 113" kit and he's got between $45k and $50k into it already, so he adds some flavor to the group.  We may have to get that group together with you and Berk and hit the pavement some day.
