I'm curious if anyone has the numbers on how many SERG's have actually been produced/delivered?  And if MoCo is going to reduce the number built from originally planned?  I believe they initially stated they were going to build 3000 SERG's.  Since then, the economy has tanked, MoCo has gone through a couple of rounds of staff-reductions and reduced their normal production output, credit is hard to come by, etc.  Are they still going to make 3000 of these bikes?

Jim,

Given that the '09 FLTRSE3/SERG is the hottest Harley on the market, I doubt they'll cut production numbers. If CVO production is going to be cut back, it will likely be the FatBob. Many dealers have one and sometimes two fo these bikes sitting on the floor... for months! There are a few Springers out there, too, so it might be a candidate as well.

I just added a poll to this posting.  This will give us a since of how many CVO Harley members have taken delivery or will by September 09.

Very interesting thread indeed. 

Is it 3000 bikes international versions included?
And what is the amount of international versions produced?
I've heard of 600 bikes, 200 each color?
If anyone has facts please let us know.

There is a 09 SERG Silver/black at Seacoast Harley in Hampton NH. I tried to buy mine there but they wanted 3k above MSRP.

Someone told me that there should be 75 total ( all three colours ) in West-Europe .
That would mean i have a real rare super-scooter . HeHe , that rocks ,  :2vrolijk_21:and i am proud to have one and looking forward to put kilometers ( or miles ) on it , That will be a awesome biker-year i guess , with this hot steamhammer , YEAH !

Check out cycletrader.com  search by 2009 road glide and you will see a chit load of unsold fltrse3 at dealers all over the country.  Looks like anyone who wants yellow can make a screaming deal!

I was told that they decided to cut cvo production in half at the first of the year. they closed the factory December 08. dunno if its true just what i heard.

This may be a silly question but where is the cvo factory at anyway ?

The CVO production is at York PA.  The CVO part of the plant is still producing.  I have not heard of any production cuts for the CVO line.  I know my dealer is able to sell every one he can get, and then some.

At 2 months of riding season a year, that doesn't sound like a great deal! 
(having spent 3 years there myself... lol)
