The H-D Screamin' Eagle Street Legal "Heavy Breather" Performance Air Cleaner Kit is available in two colors: Chrome (79253-08A) and Gloss Black (29006-09A). From the pictures on Harleys web site, it appears that the backing plate is color-matched to the rest of the assembly.

Here's a pic on an FL, at least.  The backing plate is chrome but note the black cover which hides the fuel injection:

Tried to post larger but it did not work.

Louis, I realize you're in Germany but do you know how I can get the dark gray filter element?  Thanks.

No one piece makes the difference.  It depends on what else you do.  I drilled the cc, installed the 2" fullsacs, SERT and SE plugs then dyno'd.  Currently, 110 ft. lbs. & 96 hp.  Never compared directly to the SERG high flow.  You will bump the plenum with your lower leg sometimes but that's not really a big deal.  Hope this helps.

His bike has already been hopped up, cams, heads and pipes, he's just looking for a different look, was wondering about this cleaner.

I have a new black version on a Sportster.  I have no idea if they make a black one for the BT.  I saw a huge drop in intake air temps with this breather compared to every other design that I have tested.  I saw a small gain in torque accross the board compared to stock even on a lowly stock Sporty motor.
