Lift Tie Down
« on: February 27, 2009, 09:39:39 PM »

I know I saw a pic. on a thread of some really neat mounted tie downs. I can't find it again even using a search. Does anyone know where I saw this and where I can buy them.

Thanks
Tim

Jim, do you use these for tie downs on your lift with soft ties? I want to use what you do 'cause I know whatever you're using are probably the best on the market.

Yes, I mounted these to the sides of my lift in front of the parts/tool tray. I use them daily (several times a day) with the soft ties. Where I mounted them would be a problem with the sunken lift though....

Why don't you just use the slots in the lift? I'm sure if you bolt them on (1) you never lose them and they won't fall off when loose, and (2) probably more secure.

The slots in the lift are a PIA to get the S hook into and out of. I aslo added stainless Eyebolts to the lift for other tie down points.
