Hi All,

I would like to order a chopped tour pack for my 2004 B+B seeg since all the other work is almost done and I will have the bike back in a couple of weeks. I have seen posts here suggesting that if you order the chopped tour pack for this bike it will be pinstriped to match the original. The dealer told me the lid is two tone (cobalt and starlight)  but no pinstipes or flames. Did Harley stop custom painting these ?

Fgizzo I order a chopped tour pack back in 07 for my O/B seeg it came with flames and pinstripes on it from Harley.But I have heard that you can no longer get these colors to match the 04 seeg I dont know for sure maybe others will chime in on this. Good luck

Your best shot might be Ebay for locating one. I'm told that the SE 04 tour packs have been discontinued by HD. I traded a chopped for a king and thought I hit the jackpot. Good luck.

I'm sorry to tell you this story...but it might be interesting for you !!

Last year we were visiting the US for the 105th and stayed at a friends house. She's working at Kegels in Rockford IL, I had some money left and no tour pak so I wanted to order one since the price in the US is less than half our normal price...
I knew I had to wait about three months for the tour pak so I wanted her to send it to me or pick it up the next Holiday. But, the parts manager said it was no longer available, not in stock and also obsolete, never ever coming again...it was still in the '08 catalog but not any more in the new '09 one so bad luck for me.

Now the funny part:

Back home I visited my dealership in Amsterdam, were my wife is working, and told the story to the parts manager overthere and he asked me if I knew the part # I wanted to order in the US because he knows I like to sort things for myself. I gave him the part # and he tried to order it, it was not in stock in Europe but HD accepted the order. He said they can cancel it the next days or weeks but if I really wanted it he would leave ordered until something happens. I asked him several times when I visited them but it was always still a normal backorder to be delivered.

Halfway December he called me staring at my very nice Christmas present, the tour pak in the right colors with the pinstripes as it needs to be !!! Fabricated in the nice US of A and for the normal price.....HD does more nice tricks, if I buy a jacket here it's made in the US and I see you all get the China made ?

Maybe I have to call him for you if he can do the trick again ?

that's a great story..  can you order me an o/b?     I think i found someone with a lid,then I look for the lower portion and head for the painter.

So I got the Tour Pack in from the dealer and surprise they were wrong - It does come with the accent paint and pin striped. I even called Harley corporate and they told me it would just come two toned. How can a company not know their own product?
