new to the cvo world, need help

 Hi all,
   I am so new to the cvo world that mine isnt even at the house yet. I Bought the 09 springer cvo. I before i even pick it up i want a few hop ups done. I was thinking new 2 into 1 pipes and a tuner. I dont know if this is the best place to start or if i should do something else first. If tuner and exhaust are the proper first move, any tips on which ones?  Just looking for a little help to get me going. Hope i dont get slammed to bad. I admit my ignorance about this. I have been reading this forum and doing as much research as i can. Just want to get pointed in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

Newbie here too.  Whether you decide on changing the pipes or staying stock, I would suggest getting them coated by Jet Hot or a similar company.  This will drop the pipe temp. and preserve the pipes from turning or rusting. ;)

I want to welcome you to the board from Nor Cal.  You've certainly came to he right site to get your questions answered. :2vrolijk_21:

A tuner, high flow air cleaner and performance exhaust would be the first things you're looking for if your goal is increased performance.

Welcome to the forum from the state of Tennessee!

A 2-1 exhaust system will definitely give you more power. Of course, that will probably require a tuner such as the TTS Master Tune, Screamin Eagle Super Tuner, Power Command V, ThunderMax w/AutoTune or the like. (Sorry, trying not to favor one brand over another by omitting anyone!)
