We rode to Daytona today.
Was 18 degrees when we left.
Finally got over 40 degrees when we hit the Florida line.
Around 500 miles, two up running 80 to 85 we averaged 34 to 35 mpg.
I normally get 40 riding by myself at around 75.
Love those heated seat and clothes!

Hey Chip, Glad you guys made it safely there.  Hope no important extremities were frozen off before you got there though!  Running those speeds with the bike loaded, that's about the same kind of gas mileage that I get with the SERK as well.  Did you pull the trailer?  If you did, that was exceptional mileage.

We didn't bring the trailer.
We are stayin in the stateroom of a yacht on the waterway and everything is provided so we didn't have to bring much..
I'm sitting on the deck of the yacht looking at Main Street right now.
Nancy is in the video room watching CSI. We had to come back for that, then we are off again.
It's crazy on Main Street and anything and everything you could possibly imagine is here.
Use your wildest imagination and wait long enough, you will see it on Main Street.

We did buy two Nolan helmets, I called Jim (hd-dude) to make sure the deal was good and if I was getting the latest equipment.
He said we were good. We left them there to charge and will pick them up in the morning. They will both have all the latest Nolan Bluetooth set-up and they will pair the helmets, Zumo and phone. What really sold us on this set up was the ability to use these helmets on any of the other bikes and still keep the intercom feature.

We will be wearing these helmets home and will give a report when we get home.

And
Again,,,,,,,,,,thanks Marty!
Also thanks Jim,,,,,,,,,,and per our conversation,,,,,,,I went back and asked,,,it's stereo!

Don't be late.

Buy low, sell high.

A penny saved is a penny earned.

Don't run with a fork in your mouth.

Any more last minute advice will cost extra.

Enjoy the new ride.

Warm it up to at least 100 degrees before you ride it :2vrolijk_21:
