Very nice bike. Hope your weather lets you see some seat time soon.
 I need help here, why remove the speakers for the outer fairing?

I forgot to mention they had to replace BOTH the inner and outer fairings, both with paint flaws found during their initial PDI of the bike at the dealership back in January.  Neither one was terribly bad, just had 'em and the dealer replaced 'em.  I forgot to snap a picture when both were off at the same time...that was ugly (and scary) 
Front fender had issues as well, but that's not in yet (it came in once but that one was flawed too)   
I'm not frettin it as it's all good or will be soon.  Took delivery now so I can get my mods done and be riding soon.   Spring's a comin'

Bike looks great, love the colour, and certainly looks better with all her clothes on. I got the silver and orange one because its so much faster.

Upchuck, what exactly do you mean by "flaws" in the paint job? How do you tell what is a flaw? Are these obvious things that can be seen by the untrained eye? Thanks

Outer fairing:  had a V-shaped scratch in and thru the clearcoat near the top left side a few inches from the chrome windshield trim.  This one was obvious.  Who knows if dealer did it, packing and shipping did it, or ??

Inner Fairing:  I didn't see this one myself, their service manager pointed all of these out to me the first time I saw the bike in late January.  He said new ones were ordered under warranty so for some reason I don't think I looked close at this one, or he couldn't find it then?  I looked over the new one real closely, as did they.

Front Fender:  On the right side, a little in front of the fork, is what appears like a smudge or finger print under the clearcoat.  I tried to take a pic but it doesn't show up in my garage.  I'll see next time I have it outside.  This one has to be in the right light to see it, but once you know it's there you can find it.

I was satisfied in knowing the dealer caught all of these during PDI and was getting them replaced.  They also found a blemish (never saw it) in the chrome of the outer primary cover and replaced it as well.

Chuck, it's beautiful.  Even if it is a lemon law case!!!!    Hope you get out there and enjoy it!

Upchuck, thanks for the details on the paint flaws. It's actually warm today where I live and thinking about getting her out in the sun and giving her the once over.
