Solo Seat 09 ultra
« on: March 09, 2009, 07:59:59 PM »

Its probably been asked before but, opinions wanted
I want to demount the tour pack and install solo seat, comfortable on long hauls but also mindfull of appearance.
Am considering a badlander is it comfortable long haul ?
I have a mustang wide on the springer and have had a coulpe of 600 mile + days without a problem
its a bit difficult finding bits and peices here, rely on internet
Thanks

There are so many ways you can go with the solo seat mfgs. Most everyone fav is Corbin, you can add the passenger pillion when you want to ride two up. Also can get with heat :coolblue:

corbin looks good to.
I see the seat is removed with a key, can the fittings stay and the standard seat and tour pack be re installed without to much trouble ??

I know you said solo seat, but I really am enjoying the Corbin "Young Guns" seat on my 06' FLHTCUSE.

The Corbin "Classic Solo" with the optional V-Rail might interest you! Comes in two versions, Classic Solo and Close Solo, and can be heated. It will also accept various passenger pillons, and rider backrests.
