Thank you very much for the info about mirrors. Order is placed at HD Chicago. Now I am interested how long it takes until delivery arrives in Europe. If shipment charges are acceptable and everything goes smooth I will by other goodies too.

Hi Alfred...
I am from Belgium and would like to know if you recieved your mirrors...Are it the real "RUMBLE" mirrors for the US ultra cvo 2009.
How much did you pay them free deliverd Austria? :nixweiss:

the mirros have not arrived jet. Meanwhile I hat a phone conversation with them (https://www.chicagoharley.com/shop/index.php) and they have been very friendly. Will keep you updated how delivery works, what arrives and about cost.

2 amendments as to european CVOs:

1. as you may notice, for regular german/austrian bikes there is an "official price tag" (MSRP or "empfohlener Händlerverkaufspreis") on the H-D-website - wich is not the case with CVO-models. Every dealer makes his own price for them, with the FLHTCUSE4 in Germany some were above 37.000 Euro, some below  :o

2. while profit margins for german dealers on regular bikes vary depending on annual sales etc and peak with some 19 %, on CVO-models they usually have up to 24 %, i.e. around 25 % more. So there is plenty of room for negotiations, especially as the 2010 models are already on the ship nowadays and you still see quite a lot 09-models in the showrooms ...

Hello Tom !
Sorry that I didn't reply earlier.
Finally the mirrors (92341-09 and 92342-09) arrived and they look great. Harley Chicago told me it took so because HD could not deliver earlier to them. Price: US 105.42 for both; shipping was free but I had to pay 24.85 Euro for customs.
Also another delivery from Ridersclaw (ipod mount) arrived with some delay.
Finally I am happy but everything takes some time.
