Rear Speaker Failure
« on: March 10, 2009, 09:36:03 PM »

HELP... I have a stock stereo system in a 2006 SEUC and cannot get the rear speakers to work. Whan I go into the screen that adjusts the BASS/TREBLE/FADER etc. The fader does not come up with a "bar" that tells you if you are faded to the rear or more to the front. It says "Not available"????
Checked the internet and found a HD site that says you can download a fix to update the radio (mine was..7.8 and the new was..8.19  so I loaded it and nothing changed except on the BASS/TREBLE screen there is no more FADER on the screen???
Any suggestions??

From your description the radio has forgotten that it has rear speakers. You'll need to take it to the dealer and have them hook the bike up to the Digital Tech and turn the rear speakers on in the radio's software.

Thanks for the info.
Still not sure why by loading the update the "fade" disappered from the screen??
Any suggestions? I guess it probably does not matter as I have to go to the Stealer
