Here's some more ideas that will cost you plenty...
54205-09 - 4 Point Docking Hardware Kit
53276-09 - Detachable 2-Up Tour Pak Rack
46063-98 - Detachables Lock for your Tour-Pak
48171-09 - Rear Docking Hardware Cover Kit ( I highly recommend these for a really clean look)
51635-06 - Chopped Tour-Pak Backrest Pad (the passenger backrest)
53194-07 - Chopped Tour-Pak Lock Kit (that's right, you have to buy the lock seperately)
53290-00 - Chopped Tour-Pak Molded Insert (cleans-up the inside of the tour-pak)
68328-06 - HD Smart Security Siren II (Replace the stock siren so you can actually use the smart pager)
91672-07 - Security System Pager Receiver II - Rechargeable
91558-01A - Remote Control Garage Door Opener Kit (very handy)
71802-03 - Chrome Switch Cap Kit (all CVO's should come with these stock)
58932-98 - Road Glide Compartment Liners
31621-06A - Chrome High Performance Starter (fill the black hole with chrome)
99894-09 - Fill-N-Go Fuel Tank Funnel (I spilled gas on every fill-up with the SERG until I bought this)
99483-09 - 2009 Touring Service Manual - English
99600-09 - 2009 FLTRSE Supplement
99433-09 - 2009 FLTRSE Parts Catalog
Don't forget all of the chrome screws for the engine!

I would suggest to not get your #2. Luggage rack that fits on while tour pack is off.
Once you have the tour-pak on with the spoilers and LED lighting, you are probably not going to take it off.

Larry, you got a PM.

JW, you can ride it anytime, you know that! Of course you have to leave the Johnny Cash playing.

To all the rest, looks like I got more research to do, I forgot to add, I did order all the accesories for the tour pack, backrest, lock, docking equipment etc.. I also added the oil temperature gauge to take the place of the air temp gauge in the fairing. I am definately going to check on the xenon link headlights and the kuryaken led front turn signals.

Keep the idea's coming!

Try these three:

I've had the Kuryakyns and the RJS Originals shields on three different bikes (05 FLTRI, 07 FLTR and 07 FLSTC). My preference is RJS.

The Harley and Kuryakyn units are made of polyurethane, I think. Over time, these will break, melt, fog, etc. I've had three sets of Kuryakyns and they've all had one or the other of these three issues.

The RJS shields are made of aluminum with a leather-like vinyl on the visible side. They are much more durable, much better looking and they are manufactured and marketed by a U.S. Veteran for the last 10 years or so.

Oh, and you can get them in standard, studded or jeweled styles... I'm sure somebody out there (ladies, maybe?) has bought the jeweled styles, else RJ wouldn't be making them...

Hope that helps...

After reading the info on the RJS site, I'm sold! Knowing I'll be stuck in stop & go traffic in Hawaii, seems like this'll save me from a lot of heat. Saw a few comments on how easy they are to install, so I assume I'll be able to knock it out in the coupld days I'll have with the bike in Seattle before I put it on a boat to Hawaii. THanks for the tip... I'm off to purchase my first mod for the bike!
