I hardly ever go over 140 mph for more than 20-30 mile stretches, so I am not sure about the possibility of overheating!

Don't need 7. I have run 149 in 10.4 sec. for the 1/4 mile on the Dyno.
Not bad for a stock mount and a pilgrim dyno rider?

Clocked at 138 true speed (speedo said 146) on I-20 by police. That's really about the top end due to the batwing fairing.

I've since tricked up and have 102 HP. It would do better, but the stock clutch slips when entering the power curve.
Got to get a Barnett when it ruptures!

hmmm,....    having riden a 155 hp Duc over in the UK for a long time, and drivien more than my share of pro gas cars at what I considered toxic velocities.......  I just don't know what I can add here!

As the man said..............   Hoist!  and giggle....

I wonder if this was brought up to the mechanics attention?
