What's with the leather care cream?

Got the replacement seat and the fit is nice. no gap. While I had it off I looked it over and sure a hell it is 100% genuine Vinyl as discovered previously on this site. Why the leather care that is included with the purchase of an 09 SERG? Come's in the kit. That means at least 2000 can's were distributed for no reason. About $10,000 down the sh#tter. Could have bought a lot of leather material for ten grand, don't you think! :huepfenjump3:

The center insert is really buffalo hide.  I've got a really cool scar on the rear portion of my replacement seat :2vrolijk_21:

That scar wouldn't happen to be from an old arrow, would it?  Might help to date how old that buffalo hide was.
