Usually it's the 1st or 2nd week of July.  Anyone who is going to be there will have signed an NDA about what they see.  Sturgis Rally week is the first official public viewing, although some dealers will put the new bikes out on their showroom floor the same week.
If memory serves me correctly the '10's will be put on the MoCo website the same day they are introduced at the dealers meeting.

Chip, I know you're open to the idea of riding other brands of motorcycles. What better bike than an Indian. IMC has said they are not trying to compete with Harley and would only like to gain 1% of the market share. They have a look that Harley has lacked over the years and it's now offered with a 105 cubic inch PowerPlus V-Twin with closed loop sequential fuel injection, Baker 6-speed transmission, and Brembo brakes. Plus, it's a real head turner!  :2vrolijk_21:

AJ

I would love to have the following bikes listed in the order of desire,

a Bimota Tesi 3D
a MV Agusta RR 312/F4
a Triumph Speed Triple 1050
a Indian Chief
a Ural Retro
a KTM 690 Duke
a Suzuki Burgman 400 ABS

But alas, I only have room for six and the garage is full.
If the economy didn't suck i would have a bigger garage.
Such is life.

They were all on the same day. They were spontaneously released on several internet media sources that same day. The only other resource that I have known to be slipped out and released were on the CARB pages, and that was several years ago. Last year the MoCo had those, or they were witheld until after the unveiling.

The CARB pages were available one or 2 days before the unveiling last year.  Then, the Harley site was intermittently down, or just overrun with searches...but it seemed like everytime it came back online, there was a little bit more info available on each of the models.  It took a week or two for Harley to get the site the way they wanted it and to get all of the info entered for each bike.

Chip you have some mighty fine taste in motorcycles (as well as a bride!  ;D) Let's all hope this economy gets better quickly so you can start building that new garage.  :2vrolijk_21:

Come on AJ, compete with Indian?

Tell us the truth, how many Indian Vintage's have been built and sold?

Yes, I hear there will be a S/E Heritage but in order for them to have competition there has to be something to compete with and a low volume mfg. like Indian doesn't count.

SBB
I like the idea and have wondered why there has not been one yet.

However, I am not sure I want that to happen any time soon, as I am sure the wife will want one.

I agree, the Heritage Softail Classic would be a great CVO model.  My wife and I just loved the HSC for years and then when I got the courage to buy, I ended up with the SERK.  Now if the SERG had been out, all bets would have been off.  In fact I'm still thinking very strong about trading my SERK for a SERG.  My wife says just do it and get it over with, but hey, the '10s will be here before you know it and just maybe there will be a SEHC in my future.

2010 Scremin Eagle Street Glide will have the same rear fender as the 09 SERG.  And the paint scheme and colors will be over the top. :2vrolijk_21:

I HOPE YOU ARE RIGHT...We should know pretty soon ..I heard the dealer show is in Denver this year.  Anyone know the date??

I'd still like to see a CVO Sportster. The Sportsters are the best selling model with the younger crowd and yet they have nothing to aspire to. I say build that puppy.
