Spoiler Lights
« on: March 23, 2009, 10:45:00 PM »

My SEEG2 came with spoiler lights on the tour pak and saddle bags. Currently they only function as brake lights. I would like to have them work as turn and brake lights. Is there a way to do this without cutting in to the wiring harness?

Thanks for any help,

R

depends on how they are wired in. If its done per the instructions no. you can get a run / brake / turn model and splice into that so your not cutting into the bikes harness.

Is that the module that turns the turn signals in to turn/brake lights?

Hey SE Randy,

Please let us know when you've completed and how difficult/easy it was... I was thinking of doing the same thing.

Good luck with it.

Thanks!

Yes I did :2vrolijk_21: Thanks! I will be ordering it next week. Not sure how long the tour pak will take. As long as I get it in time for Sturgis.

Thanks again!

painted parts can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks to 8-10 months. Tour Paks seem as though they are on the shorter end of the time frame.

Double check the numbers, but they should be good for you.

Grizzly,
I installed the module today, very easy. The connector is located under the seat on the 05SEEG. Only down side is this is after the point where the harness splits for the spoiler lights, so they still function as before, as brake lights only. :(

The connector attaches to this clip to hold it in place. It just slides on and clicks in place.
