Hear is a pic of my 2004 pumpkin thats been bastardized....I know its different....but hey...its mine. Runs absolutely great tho.

I think this is the first time this has been done to saddlebags...especially on e 2004 Pumpkin...

Nice touch! I love unusual styling changes like that especially when they fit with the theme of the bike.

Did you do all the work to remove the fairing or did you get a roadking and ad the paint set and what happend to the factory parts if this was a flhtcse I know a guy that might need a outer fairing because of his has alot of rock chips

Its a FLHTCSE...the original front fairing is beat to smetherines....in 5 pieces.

So it was wait till one on ebay...order a new one...or have a plain jane one sent off to paint...or...get a cheap uncomplete nacelle off ebay. the original bags are beatup also...I got the lids that have cool leds I havent seen around. I am waiting for a cheap plain jane pair to show on ebay. There was a couple orange ones on ebay not too long ago that went for $200 but i dosed off and missed em.

I got the lower crash bar fairings but I like the look without them.

I still aint finished yet....

Hey....just incase one of you guys get a squirrelly hair...and want topaint some leather or bags....this is what worked for me...

1. Autozone spray can vinyl/leather adhesion helper...a few coats get absorbed pretty quick
2. Dupli-color upholstery/vinyl silver paint(autozone)...light mist it on first..wait a while..then a heavy coat...
3. Here is where a get a few blank looks.....Autozone Chevy Orange engine enamel...light mist...then a heavy coat.

Paint matches PERFECT...I tried it without the silver base coat and the orange is slightly darker.'

So there you go...Just think of some nice matching silver/orange leathers...or custom seat to seperate u from the rest.

No gauges....no front turns yet.....coming soon tho. I am thinking about making a pod setup to attach to handlebar for gauges...smaller ones tho.

I also have some chrome plate brackets that bolt on to the side of the nacelle...you can bolt on rear sportster lights and brackets to it...should look cool and clean.
