2001 painted inner fairing

well since the bike was down for the accident repair, I decided to paint the inner fairing(vivid black) to match the outer fairing. I did notice that the 09 fltrsei3 has the painted inner fairing. But have been doing some reasearch, and I read that harley did not paint the inner fairings, because of sun glare coming off the fairing into ur eyes
has anyone painted their fairings and had issues with glare?
It is not on the bike yet, and now I'm stressing weather this was a good idea.
it looks great, but I do alot of miles and dont want to be blinded!

My 2 SEEG's have painted inners, and I've ridden quite a few RG's with painted fairings as well.  I've never had any glare problems.  I think that you'll love it!

Whats up, No love for the grandfathers of screamin eagles?!
well painted the inner fairing, the guy had to bake it extra long for it to cure.
fairing is now kinda deformed from the stress of hanging, and the plastic soften..
To make it right, I need another inner fairing.
It has serious gaps where inner and outer meet,oh well, shoulf had left well alone! :nixweiss:

painted many.. on some colors you can notice a glair in the windshield from the reflection.. nothing that bothered me once underway...

Did mine this winter along with the J&M speaker upgrade and a new winshield.  I am very pleased.  Notice the HD bar & Shields added to the glove box doors...Jack
