Hi, I am looking for a reputable dyno tuner in northeastern Illinois (from Chicago on the south, to Southeastern Wisconsin (to Racine or Milwaukee) on the north end. I have a new HD catless header coming, 09 SERG aircleaner and 2.25 fullsacs. Am considering MasterTunne or PC V. Any recomendations for a dyno tuner from your personal experience, in the defined area? Thanks

Thanks so much for the recommendations. Looks like my new non-cat HD header and SERG air cleaner arrives Monday. Then I;ll need to deal with the mufflers and ready it for tuning.

Have had my last three bikes tuned / built by Jimmy Egizio at Illinois HD in Berwyn, IL. I just installed a non cat headpipe and Fullsac 2" baffles on my 09 FLTRISE3. I'm going to have him tune it next week (using SESRT). Have also sent many friends to him for various motor work. The man is a master tuner / builder. Worked for S&S for many years. He does nothing but motor work at Illinois. He has his own personal shop away from the main service area. Everyone I know that has used his services (including myself) has been very happy with his work and the amount they were charged. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the answer Ken.
Did you preload any map after you installed the non-cat header and full sacs?
If you did, what was it?
Also, since your bike is brand new, are you concerned about the effects of dyno tuning what is a brand new engine and the effect it might have on the break in process recommended by Harley?

I did use one of the many canned maps that comes with the SESRT. I called Jimmy and asked him which one he reccomended to start with. I used the 110 c.i. stage 1 map : 205UJ004. I bought the bike in October, so I had a chance to put a few miles on it before winter. It has over 950 miles on it now. I'm going to change the oil in all three holes before the dyno, so it should be allright .
