patch clamp down
« on: March 27, 2009, 05:23:22 PM »

red & whites in switzerland have been clamping down on groups that are not officially MC or MCC, they have instructed the lower food chain to tow the line and sort out there areas!

a few groups of bikers including a group of people that i ride with on occassion have been asked not to wear waist coats with there name on the back or wear a small front patch when not an orthorised affiliated  MC MCC club

our group has embroidered directly onto the leather, not a patch; an emblem of an edelweiss flower with wings, embroidered directly onto the leather underneath "edelweiss riders and friends"   see pic

81 has an objection to this format on a waist coat but on any other item of clothing they have no objection

I've never understood this krap. (Happens in the UK too) These idiots plainly have an IQ of 1 and a mental age of 10.  :nixweiss:

Ive the greatest of time for other bikers, thats until they start telling me how to act, thank God we have no problems like this here in Ireland (not that I know of anyway)
Bike scene over this way is very relaxed, lots of respect, as it should be

So I guess the local HOG club will not be able to wear their waist coats with the HOG patches affixed when out and about?  :-\  Too strange.  spyder

So, law abiding citizens are allowing a criminal organisation to tell them what and what not to do?

I would suggest that you notify local law enforcement of this new directive, it seems old 81 may need to be taken down a few notches.

If you don't let the cops know what's happening, who will?

They tried crap like that with us here... we charged them all and seized their club house!

Members of that club will also be subject to discipline if they create bad press for the group on a whole.

Send a letter to the local newspapers.

No 1%ers!

If you're concerned about your safety call Crime Stoppers and report it anonymously, you may even be entitled to a cash reward.

No! hoggies are tolerated aslong as they dont have a bottom patch as some do in Germany.

No i am not worried for my safety, i know many of the top escheloen guys. It wasnt a demand that we dont wear waist coats like this, it was mearly a recommendation that we wear them at our own risk. this request was made to 3groups that i know of, possibly more
I have seen fights break out in other countries over these small things, with the offending waist coat eventually ripped off the back of the biker.

Actually i prefer the blacked out look! i never really was a fan of wording
I only wear that waist coat when i am attending a ride or event with that club, which is possibly a max 4 or 5 times a year.
