And it was all pretty amazing for a guy who'd never ridden west of the Mississippi River.

All was great --- until we headed out the eastern entrance. We'd be warned about the construction but geesh -  again with the just remove the road thing only this time on one hell of a grade. Oh yeah, they're just not big believers in guardrail.

On the way to Cody we went through Buffalo Bill Park and lake. Several tunnels.

Passed throught the Bighorn Mountains between Cody and S. Dakota. What a great surprise.

All and all it was a fantastic trip. Just under 6,000 miles, 1/2 quart of oil, EG ran like a top, weather was fantastic, people were great. Wife had a wonderful time, no tickets at speeds we only dream about back here. Scenery is unbelievible and the roads generally very good. We'll be back. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
