Current rating on accessory switch
« on: March 31, 2009, 07:10:41 AM »

How much current will the auxillary light switch on the nacelle handle?  Can I run a pair of 50 watt H3s without a relay?  The 30 watt units just don't add enough light to the situation.

Nobody?  No one has fried a switch?  Nobody has 50 watt lights?  Anyone know what their heated clothing draws through the other switch?  Anybody????

I expect the switch would do it, but why would you want to?  Just add the relay and keep your major power wiring as short as possible.  It will eliminate problems down the road.
