Sampson True Dual Crossover.
« on: April 01, 2009, 08:44:40 AM »

Part Number FL3-325, Has anybody put these on their bike?

I am considering these pipes for my 09 SERG, I would love to hear some feedback. I wonder if they are a true dual or does it have a crossover...I sent the question to their tech support.

Seems to me that the description is misleading, is it a true dual or not???

Thanks in advance for your responses, this is the best forum going!

Not sure why thet call the system  True Dual Crossover. If you look at the pics of the system, there is no crossover. It's just a true dual system.
Save your money. Pretty much all of the tests on aftermarket dual exhaust systems for the 09s have performed worse than the stock HD 2 into 1 into 2 headpipe.

Since your bike is a CVO model, it has a catalyst in the headpipe as do all bikes sold in California. You can replace the headpipe with a 49 state non catalyst headpipe, or have Steve at Fullsac Performance remove the catalyst for you. Pop your choice of mufflers on and you're set. A large number of the CVO owners are simply replacing the baffles in their stock CVO mufflers with Fullsac baffles. Steve offers them in 1.75", 2.00". and 2.25".

I installed a stock 09 non cat headpipe, 2.00" Fullsac baffles, and H.D. SESRT on my 09 FLTRISE3. It runs and sounds amazing. Hope this info helps.
