How Do I Change The Tranny Fluid?
« on: April 02, 2009, 08:27:26 AM »

I bought some nice oil to replace the old tranny stuff last night, but was a little stumped when I had a closer look. :nervous:

Imagine my suprise when I realised there was a bleeder valve on the side of the case! :nixweiss:

I'm gonna need some help on this one... I checked both my manuals but after the fifth pint I could not locate the appropriate section or action. :drink:

As search of related posts has brought about negative results here as well.

Anyone care to provide a step by step?

Thanks in advance!

Re read....

What he said.

Not knowing what you ride realize the bleeder has nothing to do w/ it. That's for your clutch. Drain tranny fluid and put new in the hole. Really simple.

Should be in the service/routine maintenance section of your manual.

CLUTCH FLUID LINE 2.11 & TRANSMISSION LUBRICANT 1.9

I will have to stay away from the liquid refreshments until I'm done next time!

Thanks!  :bananarock:
