I downloaded the file you attached and was able to load the map in version 4.77 of the SERT.

The Comments section of the map says the following:

Although the map is a bit puzzling in that it has the Displacement of the bike as 125.0 CID.   Shouldnt need to do that with a 110 map.  I would run this map past Steve Cole or Doc as I have tuned the 110 engine many times in many different configurations and never had to do what was done to this map to get the bike to run with max VE in SOOO MANY TABLES.   I will try and take some screenshots to explain what I am talking about.

I would highly suggest getting this map looked into.   The map was built off calibration #84   File name 176mv003-a1.mt6

Last thing to mention is there were NO timing Changes on either cylinder ???      Closed loop bias are set to 739 in all cells a tiny bit lean in my opinion of some of those kPa positions this yields a 14.61 to 14.62 which is 730 and 741 on the calculater.    798 is max or approx 14.2 to 1 is the expected return for that setting.

Hope this helps.

A few ways actually someone help you out with a copy, the dealer help you out with a copy, pay harley 20 bucks to get it on CD, or someone post it somewhere for you to download.

I was able to get the v477 software, and I can now open the Map.  Next -- need to try and connect back with the bike.  thanks for your help so far.

This morning I tried to reload the map the dealer gave me -- just to test the new 4.7.7 software -- that reloaded just fine.  then I loaded map 176MV03-a1.MT6 -- think I'll run that standard map for a tank full of gas and see how the milage does now, and how the bike runs.

Does someone have a map they are happy with that fits my bike, i.e. SERK, 110 ci, V&H ovals, K&N air filter -- otherwise stock.

One of the reasons I got the bike dyno tuned to begin with was to stop the popping on deceleration -- which the new map did.  Maybe I can just go in a tweak the 176MV03-A1.MT6 map.

I appreciate everyone's input into my issue this past week.

Doug,
What you might try is decrementing the decel enleanment table a little bit at a time and that should take care of your decel pop.

After re-checking the Cal files, I now see that 176MV003-A1.MT6 was current for 4.77...........

Set the CLBs to 798 or there-abouts, load the map, and go ride her!

......IMO

One Screaming Eagle:
Attached is the map I got from the dealer -- what do you think?

I can't open the file with the version of SERT software given to me when I bought the bike -- could that be an issue?

Doug
Doug - the map isn't correct - it appears that whoever did it simply copied the entire front VE table to the rear cylinder - they do not breathe the same.  If you were to make a data recording using your software and key you could cruise down the road and lok at what the O2 integrators are saying when in closed loop - it will give you an indication of how far off it is.  100% Integrator = open loop operation or perfect VE.  Less than 100 percent means the VE is too large and the ECM is removing fuel based on O2 feedback.  Higher than 100% means that the VE is too small and the ECM is adding fuel based on O2 feedback.

Doug - if the above is how your bike is set up you would be better off loading the 110 map from the disk and setting the Bias tables to 740 ish to 760 ish and riding the bike.

Also - in your map if the mods are only what you stated the person who modified the map added waaaaaay too much VE.  I am willing to be your integrators are down in the 80's or less when in closed loop.
