Color distribution
« on: April 03, 2009, 02:23:21 AM »

Anyone have a feel for the color distribution of the '09 CUSE's?  That is, of the 4200, how many were Ruby/Maroon, Silver/Blue, or Autumn Haze/Orange?  Even split?

I think it is to early to tell. Our group visiting the factory later this month may be able to ask that question and get some guestimates.

Ride safely,

Going out on a limb, but from what I see the Orange will be the rarest, then the Red, and the Blue is the most made. As you know we never did get the 2006 numbers, again based on what I see out there the Emerald is the rarest, then the Haze, with the Crimson being the most made. Well see on the 2009 sometime this summer.  Dave

We have all heard the wildest things from sales. I base this on what I see in the real world. And I have only seen one Orange in the real world, many Red and Blue. That blue is unreal! I like it!

Well, I saw my first Autumn Haze/Orange one on display at the HOG POT in Atlantic City this weekend.  It seemed to be a big hit with attendees, as there were a ton of group photos taken in front of it.  It looks much better in person than I had imagined, but still glad that I got the Ruby Red one! Pictures follow...

I still say that the Orange is the rare one. Have only seen one. There is a Blue on the floor at Bartels and a Red on the floor of Antelope Valley.

I don't know if it represents anything, but my local dealer has received 3 reds, and one each of the other two.  No more anticipated, but sometimes "they just show up."

Mine is a Autumn Haze/Orange and the pictures of it do not do any justice. There is a orange sparkle fleck over the autumn haze that really pops out in the sun light. Also over the top of the larger orange stripe is a brighter orange narrower stripe. I was able to see the other two colors before I pulled the trigger. Orange is my color of choice in every thing.

Bossman,

I have to agree with you that photos don't do it justice at all.  In person, it is just as spectacular as the other two.  I've always favored red, so there was never a question which one I wanted in my garage!
