Just curious to see if any of the '09 110 motors are leaking....yet...


I have a new motor going into my '07 FXSTSSe and it was built by HD with all of the '09 updates (whatever they may have been), so I'm curious to see how the '09s are holding up so far....

I,ve made the mods below & am talking with Jagg concerning the install of  2  10 core oil coolers,
remember HD cannot openingly assure us the "problem" is fixed on the 09s when they have really never admitted there was a "problerm" to begin with.

My original motor first ate a lifter and then an oil pump three days later in Aug of 2008. I had 24,500 miles on the bike at that time. HD stepped up and replaced the motor, the 09s where already out and so was the recall notice so I assume my new motor has all the fixes or is the same motor being put into the 09s. I've put 7,000 miles on the new motor and it has been running great. No problems with this new motor at all.
