God's county [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]. Don't know when you took the pics but would expect to see a lot more colors this time of year. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Jim, surprised us a lot too when we drove through the mountains Sunday.  Very little color change. Actually we had a drought like condition for several weeks, so some of our colour got hurt by just plain burning, but the leaves are not ready to leap yet. Good news for us as we have a lot with a lot of trees. My husband has a broken back and I sprained a knee a few weeks back and this laborious time of year is not what I am looking forward too.  Thank goodness we have a ride on mower, we can pick up leaves and drive them to the rear of the property, but it is still a chore.  I am thinking that the colour change this year is at least two to three weeks off. What do you have in your neck of the woods?
