Just a couple of pic's from our trip to AZ Bike Week, Paula and I enjoyed the trip very much. We started about 6:00 am on Thursday, rode to Palm Springs, filled the tank and on the road again, next stop Blythe (boarder of Cal/AZ). Arrived in Phoenix at 2:00, now to find Scottsdale

. When we arrived at Scottsdale we put our stuff up in the room and we were off to downtown Scottsdale (cool little area). Later that night we walked across the street to Sugar Daddy's (who's your daddy). Couple of

a little food and it was nighty night.
Friday at 9:00 am we started out to Tortilla Flats (the long way) , via Saguaro lake. (North Bush hwy). Tortilla Flats is a must see, all I could think of is Geronimo, tough people in a tough country. The weather was great and I just wanted to ride. We came back to Apache Junction Dealer, from there we rode back to Scottsdale. Hung out at the Billit bar then rode up to Dirty Dogs. After that we cleaned up at the hotel and went to dinner, again we turned in early.
Sat at 10:00 destination Prescott, we rode to Wickenburg to get a bite and a cup of coffee. Then on to Prescott, the grade just before Yarnell was steep and curvy, topped over the mtn. and had to stop in Yarnell (chap time). The road from there on was great. We arrived in Prescott and walked around whiskey row. Now to Jerome (the back way 89A) what a great road (If you have never seen the views from this road, you should). Rode straight threw and made our way to Hwy 17 south, back to Scottsdale. Cleaned up quick and off to dinner at the Saddle Ranch (nice steak house). Call it a day and went back to the hotel.
Sun. at 7:00 am going home, got lost getting out of Scottsdale (

) found the 10 West via Phoenix (

) and we were gone !!!! the bike was weighted down and I was jammin, I got roughly 25 mpg, anything over 80 mph and this bike drinks almost as much as I do

. Had IN-OUT in Palm Springs and next stop was home. It was a long ride but it felt good to do some distance....
