« on: April 10, 2009, 04:25:08 PM »

Since beginning i had strong disturbance when the radio was on .
Now i found out :

I upgraded the speakers to the hogtunes , but the disturbances have been before as well .
It is only when the radio is on . No disturbances at cd , and no disturbances when the engine is off .

At the first service , the dealer made a software update for the radio but there was no newer one , the same with the ECM-software , no newer software available , disturbance , then i upgraded the hogtunes , same disturbances , i removed the Osram-nightbraker-bulbs in the headlight and put in the stock , same disturbance , put in the osram-nightbraker again , same disturbance .
Hmmmm . ??????

Nothing changed ,
checked all last night , no disconnection found , no hurt isolation , i will ask the dealer next week again .
Perhaps i should try to put in another radio then i know whether it is the radio or something else .

I have the same issue.  You can hear the ABS when you use the brakes, you hear the turn signals.  Happens when your radio signal is on the weak side.  A strong signal and you do not get the bleed over.  have not had time to look for bad grounds on the radio.

On mine, the interference was coming from the ballasts for my HID lights...they were mounted on the sides of the radio, too close to my hidden TT antenae.

Bad grounds should be the reason when you believe to the electrical experts , they say that the easiest way to find out would be to replace the radio with another one . I´ll ask the dealer .

I guess and hope that I found the reason :
The connector at the antenna was not fixed enough and showed a little oxidation , put it away and there was no disturbance at the radio while the engine was running or the turn signal was switched on , i cleaned it and put some connector oil on it and connected it . Pretty good and no disturbences i heard , I will know definitively after the next ride  .
I hope this was the fault .

Mine had the same problem.  The cable to antenna connector at the base of the antenna was loose (almost off).  Tightened it up and no more turn signal/brake buzz.
